Ram Alladi

Ram Alladi is a director and screenwriter of both documentary and fiction features based in the New York area. He is the producer and director of Chiseled (2017) a documentary about the remarkably preserved architecture of the Katakiya Dynasty from India, as well as the imminently released semi-fictional biopic Ra's Metanoia (2020), an abstract and daring retelling of the life of Mohandas Karamcahnd Gandhi and his philosophy. His upcoming feature film, "Nabhamsi" (2023) is the story of one man's journey, over the course of a lifetime, to identify the source of one of his first and most primal memories. "Nabhamsi" is a live action romance, unique for being written and performed in one of the subcontinent's most ancient languages, Sanskrit. The story is accompanied by English open captions and closed captions in many other languages.
