Katya Tsarik was born on February 27, 1983 in Kryvyi Rih, grew up and finished school in Lviv. Since 2000 she has been living in Kiev. In 2005 she graduated from the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, film and television directing faculty. Her career started in 2004.
