Samita Nandy

As an actor, author, and director of the Centre for Media and Celebrity Studies (CMCS), Dr Samita Nandy has been covered in media including The Telegraph (UK), The Globe and Mail, CBC, VICE, Flare, Chatelaine, SUN Media, Yahoo! Entertainment news, and many more. She is the first celebrity studies scholar to turn into an actor and quoted in the tabloid press for ethics. Her Doctoral research on celebrity culture at Curtin University in Australia led to publications in the Celebrity Studies journal and a number of book chapters.
