Stephen Louis was born in upstate New York and raised in Houston, Texas. He performed in local theatre as a child with his first role being the Huntsman in a children's theatre production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. As a student of Clear Springs High School, Stephen was honored in Sophomore year with the Tommy Tune Award for Best Featured Performer for his role of Christopher Belling in the musical Curtains. The following year he received the Tommy Tune Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role of Lockstock in Urinetown, and in his Senior Year received a nomination for Best Leading Actor for Prof. Harold Hill in The Music Man. He then spent a year at the University of Evansville, followed by a year at home, and then left home to study at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he is now a final year student, signed with Beresford Management.
