Salil Singh

Salil Singh is an Independent Film Director, Producer, Screenwriter & Actor. He made his directorial debut with a short film, Stranger & I (2013). After preparing for competitive exams and qualifying S.S.C, Central Police Organisation S.I exam, consecutively 2014 & 2015, end moment failures motivated him to continue with his dreams and later, he made his first Mobile Short Film, Pagalpanti (2015) For Talenthouse Mobile Short Film Festival. His first Major Short Film was Ab Teri Baari (2015) followed by Panch Kaafir (2016), Fearless (2016) & Bebasi (2016), which got him many national and international selections & screenings in small scale short film festivals. In 2016, he also made a three minute short film for social cause titled, "Swachhta Hi Jeevan" which got him appreciation certificate from Government Of India. As a filmmaker, he is best known for 23 March (2017), a short film based on the life of Bhagat Singh, Where he himself portrays the character of Bhagat Singh. It was screened at Mumbai Short Film & Theatre Festival 2017 And Got Special Jury Mention From Bikaner Short Film Festival 2017, Organised By Acharya Tulsi Sansthan, Bikaner. His latest short film, Juhi Aur Jamal (2020) got screened at 10th Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival 2020 & Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival 2020. His first independent feature film titled, "Chai Ki Dukan" under his film production company, Dreams Slave Entertainment is also going to be releasing worldwide soon.
