Michael's play 'Two Twenty Somethings Decide Never To Be Stressed About Anything Ever Again. Ever.' premiered as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2019 and will have its Sydney debut this year at the Kings Cross Theatre in May after being postponed due to covid-19 last year. It has also been picked up by the Canberra Youth Theatre for a season in September. In 2020 he was granted a place in Belvoir Street Theatre's Philip Parsons Writers' Lab. He is currently developing a half hour TV dark comedy called 'Welcome Back' about two millennials who become the subject of their own true crime podcast after they accidentally commit murder' Michael has written short films including The Horrific Murder of Grigori Rasputin produced by the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and Daisy, Ferguson and Ursula which was awarded the UTS People's Choice Award (Golden Eye Awards).
