Michail Varvarousis

Michail Varvarousis was born in 1974 in Thessaloniki of Greece where he studied Medicine and specialized in Anesthesiology. Since 1996 he is researcher in ancient and medieval maritime history. In 2004 he published a collection of two books entitle "Mystikon Fylakas Aggelos" (ISBN) 960-630-429-9 and in 2017 the book "The Other Side Continent" (ISBN) 978-1478772408 and "H Apenanti Hpeiros" (Greek Version) (ISBN) 978-1478776406. In 2017 he also wrote and directed a film entitle " The Sun Gate ". A documentary film that, through the presentation of an unknown side of history, examines elements of ancient societies that open new dimensions in understanding the basic structures of civilization. From 2009 he participates in offshore sailing races as Captain of sailboat "AGIA IRINI GRE-1390".
