Physician and actor, C. Alan Scott MD was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up on a farm in southern Missouri. He started acting at 3 delivering his first monologue. Appearing in several stage production leading roles, MASH, Cheaper by the Dozen, Father of the Bride, Our Town, and Christmas Carol; the later as Scrooge which he continues to reprise as a favorite role. He attended medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and residency at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. He has appeared both in print and video promotional spots for the Elvis Presley Trauma Center, and other regional hospitals. As a supporter of the arts, he served on the board of directors for the historic Lyceum Theater in Arrow Rock, Missouri and is a benefactor. He and his wife Krista travel extensively and lead medical culture exchange trips to Italy. There he appeared on local television promoting the physician exchange program. He loves cooking, wine, and family get togethers. He supports Children Body Rights initiatives and serves on Georgia's Opioid Task Force. He has appeared in multiple episodes of the television series "Untold Stories of the ER". Those episodes have consistently ranked among viewer favorites. When not acting, he can be found practicing medicine, or relaxing on the Georgia Coast.
