Yael Pieren

Yael Pieren, also known as Yael Inokai, is a German screenwriter and novelist. She grew up in Basel, Switzerland. Her debut novel "Storchenbiss" was published in 2012. She studied screenwriting at the German Film and Television school in Berlin (dffb). Her second novel "Mahlstrom" was awarded the Swiss Literature Prize 2018.
