Emily Rebecca Siegel

Emily Rebecca Siegel was born on August 29, 1988 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the second child of Sharon Frank, RN, MN, and Dr. Burton Siegel, M.D. Emily grew up in Dunwoody, GA, and often traveled to New York and Europe with her parents and older brother. Emily attended University of Maryland, College Park, where she majored in Psychology. She continued to pursue her education at New York University to receive a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. Emily moved back to Atlanta, GA, after earning her Graduate degree. She is in private practice in Roswell, Georgia, as a Licensed Psychotherapist and primarily treats teens, women, and couples. She is featured as the body positive and eating disorders expert in Grrrl: Beauty is the Beast. Emily and her husband, Mitch, own their first home in Alpharetta with their two rescue dogs, Lumi (short for Luminous), a Jack Russell Terrier and Mr. Bongo, a Siberian Husky.
