Ally Wiprud

Ally Wiprud is an American actress born April 24, 1997 in Portland, Oregon. She developed an interest in acting at a young age, but shyness and anxiety kept her from exploring this passion publicly. However, in her Freshman year of High School she took Acting 1. While delivering her monologue, the class and teacher disappeared; there was no anxiety. Afterwards, her drama teacher took her aside after class and told her she could have a career in this, that he was that impressed by her performance. And that was acknowledgment that it wasn't all in her head; she could act. She took small roles in student and independent films while attending Oregon State University. Her past struggles with OCD and anxiety unlocked completely new emotions in her and help now with creating real characters. She is happy and grateful for every role she gets and every audition she does. She cites Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, Kate Winslet, Elizabeth Olsen, and Saoirse Ronan as childhood and current inspirations.
