Morgan McCourt is an actress born in Austin, Texas. She began acting during her first year of high school and in 2011 won her first Betty Lynn Buckley Award for her role as Little Red Riding Hood in the production of Into The Woods. She went on to be nominated for the Buckley Awards the following year as Best Actress playing Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and in 2013 was also nominated for Best Actress in the Dallas Summer Musical Awards for her role as Eponine in Les Miserables. She graduated from Samford University with a BA in Theatre, and studied Musical Theatre at Circle In The Square in New York City during the Summer of 2016. She trained with teachers such as Ken Schatz, Alan Langdon, Sybil Lines, and more. Recent projects include her role in the short film 'Engaged' directed by Dave Scala - winner of the 2017 New York Theatre Festival for his play 'Among The Furies', and the lead role in the short film Mnemonia directed by Jon-Luke Kvapil.
