Kent is the founder of oX Pasture, a film group based in Canada. He studied at the University of Toronto earning himself a BA, and at Western University earning a BEd. He was a former member of John's Tae Kwon Do, earning himself a black belt, and switched to Sunny Tang Martial Arts Center earning a blue sash. He is the youngest of three other siblings.
