Jennifer A. Manner produced and directed an award-winning short documentary, Zebrafish: Practically People, Transforming the Study of Disease (www.zebrafishfilm.org), which has been selected for over twenty film festivals and earned numerous awards, including being named a finalist in the Emerging Filmmakers Showcase at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, including as a senior executive in leading telecommunications companies and holding a senior policy position in the U.S. government. During her career, she witnessed significant changes in the telecommunications marketplace, a passion for her. Jennifer published several books on technology issues, including Spectrum Wars (Artech House, 2005) and Global Telecommunications Market Access (Artech House, 2003), and has written numerous related law review and magazine articles. As a result of her work, Jennifer has unique access to leading telecommunications innovators, policy makers and regulators, and a keen understanding of the movie's topic. Jennifer received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, in Theater Arts and Political Science. She received her J.D. cum laude from New York Law School, and an LL.M. with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center. Jennifer is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., New York and Connecticut. Jennifer was named one of the industry's Most Powerful Women of 2018 by Cablefax the Magazine. She was awarded the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany, the 2011 Government Service Award from the Wireless Communications Association International, and was named one of the top 100 broadband and media attorneys in 2017 and 2018 by CableFax.
