Eduardo Gómez Escamilla

Eduardo Gómez Escamilla is an actor and visual artist based in Mexico. He studied a bachelor degree in audiovisual languages in UANL and dramatic arts at Escuela de Teatro UANL. His practice and research has been focused mainly on the body. As an artist, he has won several prizes including Bienal Nacional Artemergente 2017, PADID grants, PECDA grants, among others. He's also been selected at international exhibits including Celeste Prize 2017, ando also national exhibits like Encuentro Nacional de Arte Joven. He has done physical training and research movement for years, worked in several physical theater shows, including Frankenstein, playing the creator's monster, a role which he adapted for his role debut film 'Alex Winter', which is premiering in 2018. For the future, he has intentions to continue an acting career in films.
