Georgia Marangouli

Georgia Marangouli was born in Larissa, Greece. She studied Physics at the University of Ioannina and completed her postgraduate studies at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). During her last year of studies she worked on Nuclear Physics. The imagination needed to operate this science led her follow what already existed within her: the Art of Cinema. In 2019 she graduated the Queen Margaret University of Edinburgh, having studied Film Direction. For her thesis film called "Azan", she had received five awards. In 2019 Georgia received an honorary award in the category of the Future of Greek Cinema at the 10th Award Ceremony by the Hellenic Film Academy. She has created an one minute series for the Instagram app called Around Alexandras str.
