Phoenyx Williams is a resident artist at the Wilbury Theatre Group, in Providence, Rhode Island where in addition to being an actor he is also educator and playwright. He is an MC and a wordsmith, known for his solo work on the underground hip-hop scene and has premiered his own hip-hopera stage show, "The Invasion of Vox Populi" in the Spring of 2017 at the Wilbury Group's Festival of New Works. Mr Williams has played memorable roles in socially conscious plays such as the award winning "New and Dangerous Ideas" as well as the title role in Idris Goodwin's award winning play "Hypeman", and can also be seen in "Fighting For Freedom: Lewis Hayden and the Underground Railroad" as Lewis Hayden in the documentary film. Phoenyx balances film, commercial, and television work with teaching in order to live a fulfilled life as a father, an actor, and an educator.
