Felipe Martinez

Felipe Martinez raised in Laredo, TX, and Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico has seen a mixture of culture in his life as well as a mixture of social problems in the US and Mexico which has become his main source of inspiration. It has also become his main source of inspiration to mix different languages in his film since he grew up most of his time speaking English and Spanish, Spanish being his first language. Felipe believes that the best films are the ones in a different language that we can't understand because it helps directors exercise their visual storytelling muscle in a way that the audience understands the story even if told in a different language.
