Shweta Khadka

Shweta Khadka is a Nepali Actress, Model, Producer, and Social worker.She was born on 5 February 1988 at Panauti village of Kavrepalanchok, Nepal. She has been involved in multiple business and social works in recent years. She is the founder of Shweta Shree Foundation which is non-profit, charity oriented towards social service. SSF focuses on providing help to underprivileged and ultra-poor people so that they can help themselves to face their economic and social hardships and eventually become independent.She spent most of her childhood in the same place. She finished her schooling from Shree Ram High Secondary School, Khopasi. She started to study in Indreshowr Higher Secondary School and finished her plus two education from there. After completing intermediate, she moved to Kathmandu for further study. She is also a managing director of MRS & Engineering (P). Ltd. And also, an owner of Himalayan Java in Rising Mall. She started her acting career from the successful movie "Kaha Bhetiyela" by late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha. Shweta Khadka was not interested in acting when she was a child. Shree Krishna Shrestha was looking for a new heroine for his new movie. Fortunately, he met with Shweta and offered her to play the movie. For the first time, Bijaya Nakarmi offered the movie Kaha Bhetiyala.First, Shweta rejected the proposal as her family did not wanted her to go in the film industry. Shree Krishna Shrestha later convinced her parents to act in his movie. Luckily, Shweta rose to fame from her debut movie. After her notable performance in Kaha Bhetiyela, she received positive appreciation, love from audiences.Shweta has acted in movies such as Hasi Deu Ek Fera, Shreeman Shreemati, Kohinoor, Kanchi, etc. Kohinoor was the last movie of Shree Krishna Shrestha but is received huge success in the box office Besides her business, movie profession she has a keen interest in social work. She founded Shweta Shree Foundation in 26th February 2017 to work for underprivileged and ultra-poor people of Nepal. The Foundation was established in the fond memory of Late Shree Krishna Shrestha. Shweta Khadka got married to one of the finest actors of Nepali movie industry Shree Krishna Shrestha. He died due to pneumonia and bone cancer after one month of their marriage.Shree is the one who took Shweta into the film industry from his movie "Kaha Bhetiyela". During and after the movie they became close to each other. Later they got married in 2014.
