Matthew Arias

Matthew Arias, also known by his stage name Matteo, is an Emmy-award-winning Los Angeles-based film editor and musician. Arias was born in Monterey County, California, however, spent most of his childhood in the Los Angeles suburb of Claremont. He has been working in the film and TV industry since 2011 when he began as an editor in Spanish language television and which late lead him to Fuse TV. Soon after arias became a freelancer and frequent collaborator with NBC Universal Media. He has been Emmy nominated several times and, has won two Emmy's for his work on multi-part news specials. In addition, he has been nominated and received multiple Golden Mike Awards and a Humane Society Genisis award for his work in the news industry. He is an active member of the Television Academy. Apart from his film and television career, Arias is heavily involved in music and has been part of several projects over the past few years.
