Ron Potter

Ron Potter is an award-winning independent freelance composer and recording artist. He is actively seeking films to compose to and placements for his music. His music can best be described as hybrid cinematic as he blends some orchestral sounds with rock and electronic. He likes film composers like Hans Zimmer, Trent Reznor, Junkie XL, Cliff Martinez, Danny Elfmann and many more. Some past successes have been composing to many award-winning short films and being twice-awarded for Best Original Score via the Orlando Independent Filmmakers (OIF) network in Central Florida, 2019 and 2020. He has also had successful placements on cable TV networks for shows like Catfish on MTV and Dr Oz on the OWN Network. His last industrial rock album Dull Unconscious Man produced in 2016 was on the first entry ballot for the 59th Annual Grammys. Ron is a member of The SCL (the Society of Composers and Lyricists) and has frequented L.A. in the past for events by Billboard, ASCAP, Taxi and the Hollywood SyncSummit. He has gained a lot of knowledge over the years and aims to use that knowledge to fulfill a life-long dream of being an integral part of the movie-making process as a professional composer.
