Matthew J. Musey

Born in Lithonia but raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Musey is of Ghanaian descent on his father's side. He has had a strong passion for video games, television, and film since a young age and is on track to become an industry producer in hopes of spreading diversity in the industry as well as breaking stereotypes and providing global-inclusive content for all viewers. His experience working within the industry like HBO Max dealt with conceptualization, story development, script coverage, and recognizing exceptional talent helped him realize he had a keen eye for diverse, prospective talent while reviewing pitches and submissions (scripts and films) in an over saturated industry. Not to mention his first Writers credit on Call of Duty: Vanguard which earned him prestigious membership into the WGAw all before 22 years of age. When it comes to role models in the industry, Issa Rae, Kevin Feige, Jordan Peele, Kevin Hart, and fellow Stone Mountain native Donald Glover are the first names that come to his mind. Musey hopes to revolutionize a platform in the industry just as they did and provide ground-breaking work for everyone of different backgrounds to enjoy.
