Joe Delacroix is an award-winning British actor, writer and director. Delacroix was born Josephe Cross in Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex, England to Philippa Talon and Russell Cross. He is of French, English and Welsh decent. He studied at Our Lady of Sion School, Worthing. He acted in several school plays and musicals, and left the school as Head Boy in 2012. After a bout of travelling, he returned to England to work in the family business of construction, whilst at the same time enrolling on a Bachelors of Law Degree at the Open University. It was at this time that Delacroix began training in the evenings at various conservatoires across London, with the aim of returning to acting, studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Drama Centre London and Drama Studio London. He gained a place at the prestigious East 15 Acting School in London and trained under mentors Andrea Brooks and Jason Warren, alongside teachers including the actors Richard Graham and Daniel Day-Lewis.
