David Slemmons

David was born in Berkeley, Calif. and raised in Reno, Nevada. He is often called the Outlaw Poet and has been a human rights activist since the 1960's. He has an MFA in Theatre from the University of Oklahoma. Although most of his work acting and directing has been on stage, he plays a lead in Carolina Rueda's Oklahoma Mon Amour (2020).
