Zack Szabo

Zack Szabo is an independent, unsigned director, producer, cinematographer, and editor whose work is in the short form. After starting a film club at his high school, he knew his passion was to pursue the cinematic arts, telling stories that provoke sincere emotions in unique, engaging, and believable ways. His debut short, "Rubikon" (2018), was filmed at the University of California San Diego, where he currently studies media in the visual arts. His latest film "Shutters and Bows" (2019) embraces the university and the city of San Diego as a backdrop for a lighthearted romance, which earned a spot in the 2019 San Diego Film Week festival.
