After boot camp at Great Lakes and Basic Enlisted Submarine School at Groton, CT, he trained as a Sonar Technician, and then served on board the Fast Attack Submarine, USS Alexandria (SSN 757). During this time, he deployed to the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf where he ported at several European countries as well as Diego Garcia and the United Arab Emirates. In 2007 he took part in a mission under the Polar Ice Cap in the Arctic and ported at Scotland. In 2008 Caleb spent two years as a Selective Reservist with the Navy Reserves, attached to an Expeditionary Security Unit out of Newport Navy Base in Newport, RI. In July 2010, Caleb went on a voluntary recall to active duty as a Navy Recruiter. In Fiscal Year 2013, he was selected for National Reserve Recruiter of the Year and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. A year later, in 2014, Caleb was selected for Region East Reserve Recruiter of the Year and awarded a Navy and Marine Corps, Achievement Medal. He studied at New England Institute of Technology in a Digital Media Productions Bachelor Degree Program and obtained a Certificate in Film and Video from Full Sail University. In addition, Caleb does Freelance Video Productions and is the band manager/drummer for TreadingThomas. He is always looking to meet and collaborate with new and positive-spirited people both socially and/or professionally.
