Megan Cook

Megan Frances Teresia- Imogyn Cook was born in Blenheim New Zealand on 18th April 1981, showed a keen interest in music and acting from the age of 3. Cook grew up in the seaside town of Rye, Victoria, Australia on the Mornington Pennisula, and her first theater production was at the age of 7 as Violet Beauregard in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where she showed a dramatic flair, also she also starred in Wizard Of Oz, Sound Of Music, and many other local theater shows. Also Cook is a singer/songwriter with a 2 octave range, who starting singing professionally at age 13, and won many singing competitions, and at 17 years of age, moved to the UK to be a session vocalist, and then moved to the US at 23 to continue being a touring vocalist and moved back to Australia at 24 years old. Cook has also auditioned for Australian Idol in 2008 ( got to Top 50), Australian version of X Factor 2003 ( Top 100) and also the Australian version of the Voice ( 2015 and 2018). Cook has also done a lot of extra work in independent movies throughout 2011-2015, and then originally Cook was offered an extra role in the upcoming series "Traffik" and then was offered a main part as prison bully "Anna" in 2016's Traffik. Sources have confirmed " She (Cook) has always had dramatic flair, is hardworking and gives everything to the characters she plays, her method is to embody the character, delve into the emotions and the surroundings that makes the character as real and raw as possible" She is also working as a writer on an upcoming web series "Maybe We Should Meet" set in Melbourne, to be released in September 2019.
