Demetrius Jarmon was born on January 5,1988 in Athens Alabama. He is the only child born to his mother Norma Jarmon and Billy Ray Jarmon of Athens, Alabama. Demetrius also has two half-brothers and a half sister. While attending Clements High School and a member of the marching band, Demetrius began to develop a career pursuing rap/hip hop music. At the age of 9 it was apparent that he was going to pursue his dreams of being an artist in the entertainment world. As he began to scribble lyrics on the backsides of homework assignments and napkins, in the cafeteria during lunch period, young Demetrius decided this would be the career that he wanted. As his passion grew stronger for the art of music, he jumped in headfirst and has never looked back. At the age of 15, Demetrius and close friend Antonio Sears ventured out to get their first taste of the business by joining a rap group known as "Young Zone 2", which mirrored the original rap group "Tha Zone", which no longer exist. The group consisted of Mike White "The Beholda", Kurt Farrar and many other artists. Kurt Farrar, the leader of the group at the time took young Demetrius under his wing as a mentee and in early 2000's, taught him how to properly count bars and write rhymes. Shortly afterwards the production of recording records began and the introduction of "Young Zone 2" was born to producer Kendrick Patton and Singer/Producer Antonio Woodruff. As Demetrius music career started to develop, he began to have thoughts of becoming an actor. While touring to different colleges with major recording artists such as "Yo Gotti", "Pretty Ricky", "Guerilla Zoe", "Shawty Lo", "Yung L.A." and "Rasheeda", just to name a few, he saw that if he could add acting to his resume, who knows, one day he could become the new "Ice Cube". In 2013 Demetrius moved to Atlanta, Ga in hopes of taking his music career to the next level. Although he found himself stumbling, he continued to push forward coming across something much more than he anticipated, a new acting career. For the first year and a half of Demetrius young acting career, he took part in doing work as a set extra and film stand in. While on various large-scale productions, he began to network and gain knowledge on how to get more out of his career beyond being an extra. In the fall of 2014, Demetrius took his first set of acting classes with Troy Rowland and has been training with him and other professionals ever since. Since taking classes with Tony Demill at "Get Scene Studios", it also led him to train with Matt Clanton on weaponry, fighting and disarming techniques for film and television. Later, he began to take voice over lessons and classes with Bob carter which led him to take character building classes with Cedric Pendelton presently. In addition, Carl Kennedy trains him for on-camera auditions and techniques. Demetrius made feature appearances in "The Black Panther" alongside Chadwick Boseman and "Barber Shop 3" alongside "Ice Cube". While making noise booking speaking engagements as an independent artist in short films such as: * Bossing up 2017 * College tales 2017 * Decisions of men 2017 * Weeping inventory 2018 In 2018, Demetrius was presented with some independent filmed speaking roles with born to be waisted internet sensation accents. He also appeared on the Tim knight talk show and appeared in a few short films such as "Loss of Love" and "take what you can". In September 2018, Demetrius signed with the Balinda Michael's Talent Agency. Shortly after signing they got to work which he was rewarded with winning his first best written short story film award in November 2018 Currently, Demetrius is proud of his newly released album "Mindset" and still records music and soundtracks in Atlanta with producer Anthony Tizone street, the Chicago hip hop music legend Farrar Da Prince just released his 6th independent studio album entitled "Mindset", produced by "Beat Champ" of Alabama and Anthony "Tizone Street" of Chicago, IL. The Chicago legend is working and now based out of Atlanta, Ga. Demetrius Jarmon, the "Actor" has won many short film awards this year, and because of his hard work and efforts, he thanks his film and production crew In 2021, Demetrius can count his blessing on being part of short films that were awarded best short film and best picture four times this year. In addition, his films won best film and best picture of the year, 2021.
