Cleo Cwiek is a Polish model. She was scouted at a shopping mall. Soon after, she was holding court for major designers at runways and in editorial for a global audience. She walked for Paco Rabanne and Marc Jacobs, while she was the exclusive opening star for Proenza Schouler's last-ever New York show. A favorite modeling star for high-end designers, she stands out from all other models based on her shaved head contrasting with a distinctly feminine face. Through a Photoshop rendering, she realized that her iconic buzzed hair would suit her and add to her edge as a model. This decision has propelled her more instantaneously than her modeling peers into the realms of high fashion and runway superstardom. She donated her long hair when it was cut off to Locks of Love, which makes wigs for underprivileged children. Cleo Cwiek also studied psychology at her university in Poland, based on an initial inspiration from her therapist. By working through her own issues and confronting herself, she became a model with an almost unbelievable presence. She hopes to defeat the stigma on mental illness in society. For Cloe, having multiple passions alongside fashion creates a more dynamic life. The more personality outside of modeling, the more this special flare will come through in the model work. As evidenced in her incredible portfolio, personality and character create looks and not the other way around.
