Rebecca Janny born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, an extremely talented and versatile actress, got the acting bug when she was 10 years old starring in her first play The Little Girl Who Didn't Believe In Christmas! After graduating with her Master's Degree in education, Rebecca became a full time educator, while still keeping her passion for acting alive during her free time. On Stage, Janny has had many memorable roles, M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Clara Immerwahr in Who Are You Fritz Haber and Mrs. VanDaan in Diary of Anne Frank. The performance of Mrs. VanDaan in Diary of Anne Frank, earned her a nomination of the Outstanding Supportive Performer sponsored by the Footlight Awards. Other memorable roles include Jennifer in Amatures, Jean in Blind Dating At Happy Hour, and Maria in Lend Me a Tenor. All of these roles provided an opportunity for her to showcase her comedic skills as well. With her debut role as Karen in Dancing With My Father, a low budget independent film, it ignited a desire to extend her acting career in film. This lead her to become involved her current project Love Is a Two Way Mirror. Not only does Rebecca have a charismatic presence about her when on stage or in film, she also has an unconscious elegance and intelligence to her, a true inner beauty that radiates on-screen. She will be gracing the screen, both large and small, with her unique presence for many years to come.
