Hi everyone, as you can see my name is Jon Guerra. I am the writer, creator, actor, and director of my original Latino Texas based comic book superhero Wolfsbane. I'm 100% American, 100% Texan, and yep I am 100% Latino! God bless America and God bless Texas! Born in Alice Texas in 1970. I was raised in Oklahoma until I was 18, and moved back to Texas! in 2015 I created the character Wolfsbane for fun when I began attending renaissance festivals throughout South Texas. My son got talked me into going to a comic con to introduce my character, by the second comic con i attended in Victoria Tx, the very humble and funny Verne Troyer saw me and called me to his table... his words " who the hell are you supposed to be, because that's the most kick-ass suit I've ever scene". after spending approximately 10-15 minutes in conversation with him, he encouraged me that i should take my character to the next level. i had not written since high school, but decided that i would start the journey with creating the first comic book for my character. During this time the Corpus Christi caller times wrote an article about me being the first South Texas Superhero which gained the attention of CEO, Director and Producer Peter Sullivan with ARO Entertainment / Hybrid in Woodland Hills California who was looking to buy my properties for the sci-fi channel. long story short, i have released part 2 of the comic book and a coloring book.
