Alexandra Diaz is a native Washingtonian, McGill University alumna and a graduate of the Meisner technique conservatory program at The Ruskin School of Acting in Santa Monica. She played "Cherri" in one of the L.A. Cafe Plays written by Chris Mulkey and directed by Rupert Hitzig. Commercially, she has worked with brands like ADT Home Security, HOKA, Hilton, and Amtrak San Joaquins. In 2020, she was selected as the official spokesperson for the OC Vote campaign, which served to increase voter turnout in Orange County for the 2020 election and consisted of billboards, PSAs, and direct mailers. Most recently, she was one of the leads in a commercial series produced by Windsong Productions for Central California Blood Center titled "It's Amazing What You Can Do", which earned a NorCal Emmy award for best commercial. In 2022, she was cast in a supporting role in a short-film titled "Amina", executive produced by Lena Waithe and Hillman Grad Productions, 271 Films, and Ventureland in collaboration with Indeed as part of the second season of the Rising Voices program. "Amina", premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival and was theatrically released in select theaters across the U.S. before Jordan Peele's, NOPE. A former gymnast, Alex competed in the Junior Olympics and U.S. National Championships for rhythmic gymnastics in 1999 and 2000. She speaks English, Spanish, and French.
