Ever since I can remember, I've always had a very active and vivid imagination. Growing up in Florida (where I received my schooling), I had the opportunity to use my imagination through the realm of acting. I loved the idea of becoming a different character and putting on an act that would inherently transform me and my surroundings into another world. Not going to lie, definitely may have earned the title of class clown a few times in my life. The acting, the imagining, the performing, just never stopped-it only grew. By the time I was a teenager, I had been in several plays and productions. Acting, like modeling and fashion, had also become an escape for me. Seeing other people laugh, smile, and react to performances, skits, and plays that were in direct correlation to characters you were portraying or lines you were delivering became a close affection of mine. In other words, I loved it. In high school, the acting continued through a multitude of performances I began adding to my repertoire. In between the summer months of my teenage years, I even joined acting and singing groups that traveled locally to perform. Between late night practices and long rehearsals, my love and drive for the arts blossomed until college when I made music performance one of my majors and performing arts my minor. By the end of the first semester, I had already immersed myself in grad recital acting productions and extra curricular artistic endeavors. Performing, making people smile, and leaving memorable experiences through acting became an addiction of mine-the good kind. It was then that I discovered my affinity for wanting to change the world by spreading love, positivity, and happiness through my skill sets and abilities. That was it, I wanted to make people happy. I wanted to see people smile. I wanted to leave my mark on this world. Thus, I began doing everything to make that happen-and still do the same to this day. (Nor do I ever plan on stopping) It's that realization that everyone must come to visualize: each of us-individually, and as a whole-have the power to change the world and leave our legacy for those to follow. It's what we choose to do with that power that delegates the true mastery of who we are as individuals. After my freshman year, I had the opportunity to be a part of an international traveling drama team. We traveled all over the North East acting and singing. At one point, we were also performing in multiple venues in Canada. It was such a surreal moment of my life-working with a team of people that shared the same passion of the arts as I did and performing in front of thousands of people throughout the summer months. Well, what brought me to Los Angeles? Mid-way through college, my life's path took a complete 180 as I moved down to Orlando for an amazing job opportunity regarding my culinary career. It was but two years until I had the incredible chance to move to the one and only Los Angeles, California (city of the arts). Since being there, I was able to dive headfirst into the acting industry. Within the first year, I was signed on to an agency, landed a role in an independent film, and had been able to work on several TV shows, networks, streaming services, and films as a background actor and some as featured roles. It wasn't until early this year (2020), where I earned my final voucher working as a figure skater on Disney Channel that gave me the chance to becoming a Sag-Aftra Actor. Being able to work hands-on in the industry has been one of the most surreal and priceless experiences ever. I can't wait to continue to use my gifts to advance as an actor, creative, and entrepreneur for years to come.
