Marialisa Caruso

Marialisa Caruso is a Sicilian-American, native to San Jose, California. She was born on October 2, 1998 to Anthony and Mariuccia Caruso. Stuck in the middle of her four brothers, Marialisa sought out a sisterhood at the all-girls Presentation High School where she was first introduced to the art of acting and encouraged to further pursue her writing. She then went on to attend Santa Clara University with a major in Finance and double minor in Creative Writing and International Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Through her creative works, Marialisa aspires to bring about what she calls the "life genre," as inspired by her favorite film, La Vita è Bella (1997). Encompassing all the variances of life, from unbearable tragedy to outrageous humor and deepest love, this setting would allow for audiences of all preferences to follow the same story, yet individually gather what they wish and relate to the unexpected, so as not only to enjoy, but feel.
