Brian VanHooker

New York based writer and director and half of the creative team behind Turtle with Lemonade Productions along with Steve Quistgaard. VanHooker is the co-creator of "The Tramp" television pilot starring John O'Hurley and is the co-creator of the 'Barnum & Elwood' pilot and comic book. He got his start in television working in research on the final season of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he met Joel Godard, who would later star in his series of internet shorts "Little Known Moments in American History," and Brian McCann, who would provide the voice of Barnum in the 'Barnum & Elwood' animated pilot. Brian is a writer at MEL magazine and has previously written for Maxim, Men's Health and Adult Swim's now defunct online magazine. He also hosts a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles podcast titled "Turtle Tracks" where he's interviewed such guests as Kevin Eastman, Rob Paulsen, Pat Fraley, Kevin Munroe, Steve Barron and others. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and daughter.
