Vikrant Chauhan

Vikrant Chauhan (6 Jan, 1991) Born in Islampur, a small town in Nalanda, bihar. Vikrant Chauhan aspired to become an actor since childhood. He relocated to Patna at the age of Nineteen, and started to do a course in animation and film making. After spending 3 years as an animator, He Started to do theater after quiting his job as a graphic & Web designer. He acted in more than 20 plays, included two solo plays "Jhuki Hui Peeth" & "Pagal Ki Diary". And also worked in more than 15 short films most of them are screened in national & International Film Festivals and got recognition, rewards in them. Like Apeksha, Nine, Gopi, Nayee Raah, Parda and others. He has worked as an antagonist in Hindi film "Jungle Mystery Of Murder". His upcoming films are Boxer and Sudarshan. He is also working as a Film Activist in Bihar and founded "Bihar New Wave Cinema" & "Bihar Bioscope". His another initiatives are "Magadh Film Festival", for creating a platform to showcase films of indie filmmaker in bihar & "Magahi" for culture, language and folk forms to increase.
