Chaislyn Jane King

Chaislyn Jane is a singer, songwriter, TV/Film and stage actress from Baton Rouge, LA. She has performed in numerous theatrical productions, starting at age 6, and she originated the role of Chanel in Jambalaya the Musical (2019). Her film credits include local commercials and short films, as well as Teen Musical The Movie (2019). In 2017, Chaislyn won the local singing competition, Bayou Idol. She went on to compete on American Idol at the age of 16, earning a golden ticket from Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry. In December 2018, she released her debut EP entitled, "With Love," on all platforms. Her music video for the single 'Carole' was nominated for 'Best Music Video' at the International Christian Film Festival (ICFF) in 2019 and won "Best Music Video" at the Calcasieu Parish Short Film Festival (2019). She is continually writing new music and is currently (Fall 2019) recording for an upcoming album. Chaislyn Jane performs at events and concerts in Louisiana and surrounding states.
