Tymur Yashchenko

Film director and screenwriter, born in the city of Cherkasy in Ukraine in 1985. He holds a law degree from the Cherkasy Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University. In 2007-2009 he resided in Stockholm, studied film production at the Kulturama Art School. In 2014 he gets a diploma in Lodz Film School's (PWSFTviT) film directing course. In 2016 he made his first professional short fiction film "Lev" (2016), which is a prologue to the film "U311 Cherkasy" (2019). And in 2019 he premiered his feature debut film "U311 Cherkasy" at Warsaw Film Festival "International Competition", which is apparently the first motion picture about the Ukrainian Navy. Lives and works between Warsaw and Kyiv.
