Dhruva

Dhruva Karunakar is an Indian actor, performed lead character in the Telugu cinema Ashwamedham, that will be on screens from June 5, 2019. Dhruva was born in Udupi, a small town of southern coastal India, then relocated to Mumbai at the age of 15. His acting career started with stage theatre, after he finished short courses with FTII, Pune and NSD, New Delhi. He spent over 5 years with stage theaters where he played many highly acclaimed roles. Dhruva Karunakar's first break on screen came in the year 2017 in a music video, 'Eppettiki Prema', with co-star Aditi Arya. He learnt martial arts like 'Muay Thai', 'Karv Maga', and joined acting course with Barry John. Dhruva also did a film direction course with NYFA, New York. Dhruva Karunakar got his first break as a lead role in Director Nitin G.'s production - Ashwamedham.
