Tristan Coleshaw is an actor, singer/songwriter, model, blogger and poet. Born in Salisbury, England, Tristan's early childhood was spent in a Welsh-speaking community near Aberystwyth, and in 1991 he was a silver medalist at the National Eisteddfod of Wales for his recitation of the classic Welsh children's poem, 'Ymson Mot y Ci'. Later that year, he and his family relocated to Seaton, Devon, England. An early pioneer of online music streaming and downloading, between 1999 and 2000, whilst still a high school student, Tristan scored four #1's on the MP3.com charts as a member of ambient/dance trio, Intrinzic Sounds. Their debut album was released internationally by Changing World Records in 2000. In 2008 Tristan's band WiRED was featured in a segment of BBC3's talent competition, 'Upstaged'. Tristan has worked as a model for London-based artist and director, Alice Evans, since they first met in 2005, and their collaborations have been viewed in exhibition spaces across the United Kingdom, including Tate Britain (2008). Publishing occasionally under the pseudonym, Kamikawa, Tristan's poetry has been published in print and online in various poetry journals, including 'Unbroken Journal', 'Cha: An Asian Literary Journal', 'Lunar Poetry' (as Kamikawa) and 'The Lake' (as Kamikawa). As Kamikawa, Tristan released his debut Spoken Word EP, 'Frakknuckle', on Souncloud in 2015. Whilst balancing his creative and performance work, Tristan is studying for a BA Modern Languages (French) at the prestigious University of Exeter in England.
