Mateusz Pacewicz

Writer and director, born in Warsaw, Poland in 1992. Since 2020 Mateusz is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences & Polish Film Academy. In years 2016-2019 Mateusz wrote two feature films - Corpus Christi & The Hater. Corpus Christi was nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film and won countless awards on festivals around the world. The Hater won the Best International Narrative Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2020. Mateusz received many individual prizes, most notably Two Golden Eagles in 2020 and Best Screenplay in Gdynia Film festival in 2019. HEAT, a short film Mateusz co-wrote and co-directed together with Agata Trzebuchowska premiered in Sundance Film Festival in 2017.
