Sophasak Kimann

Sophasak Kimann is a Cambodian film director, producer, and cinematographer. He wrote, directed, and produced his debut short film Red Gloves (2016), which won Best Director at the 6th Chaktomuk Short Film Festival 2017, followed by Best Cinematography for Viplas/Rachana (2018) at the 6th National Film Festival 2019. Sophasak has several short films and feature film credits that were nominated and awarded at both local and international film festivals. Other work includes TV series, web series, music videos, and commercials, and were taught for screenwriting by Deependra Gauchan and Ines Sothea at Cambodia Cinema Department, The Diffusion of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.
