Sanjay Nambiar brings a wealth of life experience to his roles. He has starred several short films, including "Vulture" directed by Mathew Young, "The Friggin Best" directed by Mary Gulino, "Escape Party" directed by Gabe Montero, "Partners in Crime" directed by Jennifer Varenchik, and "Halloween" directed by Sarover Banka. As a commercial actor, he has worked for multiple acclaimed directors including Michael Beresford Wong, Matt Smukler, Michael Downing, and Michael Sugarman; for photographer Peter Yang; and for award-winning ad agencies and production studios. He also was an improv comedy performer on house teams at the Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, CA for several years. Before cultivating his acting career, Sanjay wrote several award-winning books, including multiple titles in the Super Amazing Princess Heroes series and the A Little Zen for Little Ones series. Sanjay grew up in Carson, CA, where he overcame a gang- and drug-riddled environment with the help of a close-knit family and a focus on education. He graduated with honors from U.C. Berkeley, with degrees in Economics and Neurobiology, and earned an M.B.A. from UCLA. He is managed by Nelson Paredez-Parks at the ESI Network and is represented theatrically by Raphael Berko at Media Artists Group and BBA Talent for commercial and print work.
