Daniel Rengering was catapulted into the international spotlight in September 2017, and rose to fame during his philanthropic work with Hurricane Irma victims. A viral selfie, posted by the Gainesville Police Department generated more than 175,000 comments, 517,000 shares, with a reach of over 138-million. Immediately branded the "Hot Cop with the Good Hair," Rengering was quickly recruited by renowned photographers from all over the world. He has since been featured on the cover of more than 40 books, and was even invited as a special guest speaker at the 2018 Rudolph Valentino Memorial in Los Angeles, joining celebrated film historians, authors and members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, (The Oscars). Rengering will be featured on the CBS hit-show Survivor, as one of twenty castaways, battling it out, for a chance at one-million dollars. Rengering will also be hosting as a red carpet correspondent at the 2019 SAG Awards, GRAMMY Awards and The Oscars. Having lost over 125-pounds in 5 years, Rengering has become a motivator for those wanting to transform their bodies.
