Ksenia Parkhatskaya is a dancer, choreographer, singer and actress. Dancing since 6 years of age, Ksenia came to fame through her signature 20's Charleston choreography on "So You Think You Can Dance" (UA & RUS) and soon rose to be one of the most viewed dancers on the internet with over 200 million views. Trained in competitive ballroom dance since the age of 6 and musical theatre since 2006, Ksenia's current specialization is solo dance styles to different types of jazz music. Ksenia regularly performs with live ensembles and orchestras. To name a few, Christian McBride Trio (US), Postmodern Jukebox (US), Barcelona Jazz Orchestra (Sp), Keystone Sextet (Fr) and many more. Being a versatile soloist Ksenia is much in demand at art and music festivals. She has performed original work with the Paris Opera Orchestra, danced in the full length opera piece at O/Modernt (Swe) and performed for Aspen Santa Fe Ballet company (US). Ksenia is founder of the biggest online school dedicated to solo jazz dance styles "Secrets of Solo" with over 2,800 students having taken the courses. Ksenia is also the lead singer of "K Quintet" jazz band and an actress mostly recently appearing in the award winning film "Paris You Got Me". Globally known as one of the worlds best solo jazz dancers, is lesser known for her songwriting and vocals, yet here her voice, heart and soul fly just as freely as her body in movement. In 2018 she began the process of creating her debut album "Colours" co written with her husband, composer and bassist David Duffy. To release the album Ksenia and David produced an animation short together with an award winning director Julie Boehm.
