Elizabeth Rose Morriss

Elizabeth Rose Morriss is a Toronto-based actor and singer. In the theatre world, she has recently created and performed her own cabaret, I Woke Up Singing: the Jane Powell Songbook, played Josephine "Ma" Strong in Urinetown (We Are Here Productions), and starred as Emma in the one-woman musical Tell Me On a Sunday (Civic Light Opera Company). Elizabeth played the Mother in A Single Bound, which was a selection of the 2018 Toronto Short Film Festival. She appears in episodes of the web series Teens 101 and Here's Ginger. Elizabeth has also acted in a number of student films, for Sheridan College, Ryerson University, and Humber College. Elizabeth has degrees in Music Theatre (Acadia University) and Education (Nipissing University), and is on the Board of Directors of Bygone Theatre.
