Monterio Caldwell

Monterio R. Caldwell was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up with a single mother in a low-income neighborhood on the Eastside of Atlanta. He bounced back and forth living some of his younger years with his grandmother and some with his mother. Growing up in that neighborhood, he was faced with situations most children should not be exposed to. When asked if he would change his circumstances or change where he grew up if given the chance, he replied "Nope. Not at all. Going through what I went through and witnessing all the things I witnessed made me into the man I am today. I'm thankful for it all." He attended Charles R. Drew Charter School, where his passion for acting was discovered. Monterio didn't have the traditional "acting bug". In fact, his love for acting came a bit accidental. Like a lot of people, Monterio struggled with staying out of trouble during his years of adolescence. Fortunately with assistance from teachers/administrators, he was pushed into finding his unknown desire to be an actor. In 2017, Monterio graduated from Charles R. Drew Charter School, which was the first graduating class of that high school. Monterio Caldwell has been working really hard at mastering his craft in classes and by taking on roles in short films & other indie projects.
