Tanya Eden Levy (born as Tatyana Kofanova) is an Israeli actress and model. She speaks four languages, Russian, Hebrew, English and Spanish. She was born in a small town called Udachny in Mirninsky District of the Sakha Republic, Russia, to a Jewish father and a Christian mother. Her parents divorced when she was 2 years old, and when she was 7 years old, she and her father's family moved to the city of Ariel in Israel. Her mother lived in Saint Petersburg, Russia, until she died in 2012. Although she had not lived with her mother since the age of 7, they were very close, and her death was a hard loss for her. Tanya has a brother, from her mother's previous marriage, who lives in St. Petersburg. From a young age, Tanya loved the stage. At the age of 8, she began to dance and was soon accepted into the Rhythmic Gymnastics first team. She has been a gymnast for a decade. Over the years she participated in dozens of competitions and won dozens of medals and trophies for her achievements. At the age of 9, she began to study voice development, and at the age of 12, she already participated in her first singing competition. At the age of 16, she joined the Performing Arts group, and after three months of preparation, flew with the group for a tour around the US. At the age of 17, she participated in a beauty contest and reached the top five. The contest was covered all over the world, because it took place in the territories, beyond the Green Line. Tanya served in the IDF for 2 years, as a guide for emergency regulations, for the Home Front Command. After one year of service she was promoted to a commander in training courses. Also, during her service, she converted and became a complete Jewish. Tanya is an alumna of The Academy of Performing Arts, Tel Aviv, founded by Prof. Avraham Oz. On stage, she played in several plays, but she is best known for the lead role in the play Nashim Medabrot Nashim (Women Speak Women). The play was a great success, it was performed at the Habima National Theatre in Tel Aviv, and was purchased for many cities from north to south in Israel. Also, the play was very profitable. The last play she did was Take Your Father And Go To Hell, of the Jewish Hebrew Stage in Los Angeles. The play received many acclaims from both the Israeli and American audiences and was covered in all Israeli magazines in LA. Her television experience includes roles in the famous Israeli series Nevsu, Downtown Precinct, Cash Register, Malkot, but she is best known for the Russian series Kurortnyy Roman, where she co-starred with Lucy Dubinchik. Tanya also participated in several commercials and in several web- series. She is best known for the lead role in the web-video How To Get A Kiss On New Year's Eve. This video was highly watched, reaching almost 1M views. In 2020 Tanya became the presenter of Rossetto Israel. Tanya also studied Kabbalah for several years. During these years she volunteered several times to perform in plays for minor ability kids.
