Ramsden Madeus is an actor from Trenton, New Jersey. Born in 1996, he was the first of his two siblings to be born in the US. His parents immigrated from Haiti to ensure a better life for their family. Growing up, Madeus explored many passions including an endless amount of reading, playing saxophone in the school band, singing in the gospel choir, and participating in his high school theater productions. He attributes his initial interest in theater to his high school English teacher Ms. Flaherty who motivated him to participate in school plays such as 'Hairspray' and 'In the Heights.' While in school he also a multi-sport athlete playing football, soccer, basketball, and ran track at the collegiate level. Believing track was his calling he ran away from his passion of the performing arts until the day came where he walked into a 48 hour film festival sponsored by AT&T. He ended up walking out with the team he met that day with the 1st place prize money as well as an ignited flame for the performing arts. Wanting to develop his skills as an actor he went on to study for 2 years with the Atlantic Theater Company. Some of his most recent credits include 'Inheritance' (2019), which won the award for Best Fiction Drama at Marymount Manhattan College's creative media showcase, as well as 'When Two Ends Meet' (2019), which premiered at The Paley Center for Media, and 'The Blue Cave' (2021)
