The pacing is spot-on, surpassing a lot of big-budget films. I especially want to shout out the lead actor's smarts and abilities. “Sixty Minutes” is a film with a simple story but thanks to Emilio Sakraya lead performance, I was invested in his character and the situation of him trying to get home to see his daughter on her birthday in 60 min or lose her forever due to custody battles, all the time fighting, running from and avoiding mobsters and criminals. His physical performance is amazing, the practical fight scenes and the stunts he does are worth the watch and it’s matched by his emotional side of the character with him getting angry that he is stopped constantly throughout the film. If you like films like “John Wick” and “Extraction”, then this might be for you, with time and care taken with the action scenes like those films.
